Our purpose
Since 2005 we have been connecting the audiovisual world with the digital environment. We help TV stations, radio broadcasters, institutions and companies move to streaming, video on demand and OTT platforms, with tailored, scalable solutions built on open technologies: cloud computing, open data, artificial intelligence and open APIs.
Behind aranova.cloud is ARANOVA, the same company that develops Vídeo Acta Digital, Local Reporter, Adiutor Social and Liquen savEnergy.

We tell you what we do and how we do it. Since 2024 we work under a code of ethics and an internal whistleblowing channel, and we publish our carbon footprint.

Every client is different. We build tailored solutions on open, interoperable standards, so technology adapts to the project — not the other way around.
Constant innovation
R&D has been part of ARANOVA from day one: from the first 3D and 5.1 concert broadcast from Zaragoza in 2011 to Spain's first immersive 360º 4K broadcast in 2019.
Rooted in our region
We work from Zaragoza with a global outlook. We are founding members of the Aragonese Audiovisual Cluster (CLADA) and keep a strong connection with our region.
Sustainability
We have calculated, reduced and offset our carbon footprint since 2018, holding the Ministry's Calculo, Reduzco and Compenso seals, with annual tree plantings alongside El Bosque de los Zaragozanos.
Social commitment
We collaborate with Fundación B.U.S.F., Fundación Carlos Sanz and Fundación Isabel Martín, and have run our own social action programme since 2018.

Our story
ARANOVA was born in Zaragoza in 2005 with a simple idea: audiovisual technology should be open, accessible and at the service of content. Two decades later we hold the same idea — and clients who have been with us almost from the start.
- 2005
ARANOVA is founded and jMOS is born, our first implementation of the MOS protocol, the broadcast industry standard.
- 2007
Our collaboration with CARTV (Aragón TV and Aragón Radio) begins, and continues today.
- 2011
We broadcast the first 3D and 5.1 concert from Zaragoza and bring automatic subtitling to TVE's 24h channel.
- 2016
New headquarters at Plaza Fonz and the launch of ARANOVA.cloud.
- 2019
Spain's first immersive 360º 4K broadcast.
- 2021
Vídeo Acta Digital arrives at Villamayor de Gállego town council: council sessions streamed with digital minutes and electronic signature.
- 2025
We celebrate 20 years with a renewed visual identity and the same mission.
